Google researchers say they have identified an iOS exploit kit used in phishing campaigns designed to steal cryptocurrency wallet seed phrases and other financial data from iPhone users. According to the company, the toolkit targeted older versions of iOS and was deployed through fake finance and crypto-related websites, where it could search devices for sensitive information and crypto app data. Google said the exploit does not affect the latest iOS version and urged users to update their devices or enable Apple’s Lockdown Mode if updates are not possible. Cointelegraph
