Account abstraction

Account abstraction is a blockchain design feature that makes crypto wallets easier to use. On Ethereum and other networks, it can allow wallets to operate more like smart contracts instead of simple accounts controlled solely by a private key. Features may include account recovery, spending limits, batched transactions, gas fee rebates, and different ways to approve transactions.

For example, a wallet using account abstraction may let a user recover access without relying only on one seed phrase, or let another party pay the gas fee.
