Arbitrage is a trading strategy that exploits price differences for the same asset across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges or markets. Traders purchase an asset at a lower price on one platform and sell it at a higher price on another, profiting from the price discrepancy.

Several types of arbitrages exist in crypto trading:

Exchange Arbitrage – Buying an asset on one exchange where it’s undervalued and selling it on another at a premium.

Triangular Arbitrage – Capitalizing on price differences between three cryptocurrencies within the same exchange.

DeFi Arbitrage – Utilizing differences in decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols to maximize profits.

While arbitrage can be profitable, traders must consider transaction fees, withdrawal limits, foreign exchange rates and market fluctuations, as these factors can impact potential gains.
