How to deposit CAD by Interac e-Transfer

Before you begin

To deposit Canadian dollars (CAD) by Interac e-Transfer, find Ndax's e-Transfer details and your unique message code in your Ndax account, then send an e-Transfer from your bank with the code in the message field. Most e-Transfers arrive in your Ndax account within 0 to 30 minutes.

Important

Always include your unique message code in the message field of your e-Transfer. It's how Ndax matches the e-Transfer to your account. Copy and paste it to avoid typing mistakes.

  • Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA). You need 2FA and a verified account to deposit.
  • Send from a bank account in your name. The name on the bank account must match the name on your Ndax account. If it doesn't match your Ndax account, the deposit needs manual review and may be rejected. See Can I deposit from a joint, business, or someone else's account?
  • Short message fields: if your bank limits how many characters you can enter, enter as much of the code as it allows, starting from the beginning. For example, Desjardins allows 10 characters, so enter the first 10.
  • No security question needed. Ndax has auto-deposit turned on, so you don't need a security question and answer unless your bank requires one.
  • Check your bank's limits. Ndax doesn't limit e-Transfer deposits, but your bank may.
