How to deposit BTC using Lightning Network

BTC Deposit Network Options

When depositing BTC, you will now have three network options to choose from:

  • Bitcoin (on-chain)
  • Binance Smart Chain (BEP20)
  • Lightning Network

The Lightning Network provides an additional option designed for speed and efficiency—especially for smaller or time-sensitive transactions.

Key Differences: Lightning Network vs Bitcoin Network

When Can the Lightning Network Be Used?

The Lightning Network can be used if you want to:

  • Transfer BTC quickly between platforms
  • Minimize transaction fees
  • Send smaller amounts efficiently

For larger transfers, or when sending to wallets that do not support Lightning, the standard Bitcoin network may be more appropriate.
