How to set up recurring staking

How to set up recurring staking

Before you begin

Recurring staking automatically stakes more of a coin you already hold, on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. It uses your existing balance of that coin and doesn't buy anything. You'll need enough of the coin in your wallet to cover each scheduled amount, or that stake won't go through.

  • Recurring staking uses the coin you already hold. Each scheduled stake moves the amount you choose from your wallet balance of that coin into your staking plan. Nothing is bought.
  • Review your recurring investment when unstaking. If you have an active recurring investment, you'll be prompted to choose whether to keep it active as a recurring buy or delete it completely.
  • Keep enough of the coin in your wallet. If your balance doesn't cover the full scheduled amount, that stake won't go through. Partial amounts aren't staked.
  • Check that recurring staking is available for the asset. Each asset's page shows this.
  • Read the Crypto Asset Statement for the asset.

Frequently asked questions

Can I set up recurring staking for more than one asset? Yes. You can set up a separate recurring investment for each eligible asset you want to stake.

What happens if I unstake my full position?  If you have an active recurring investment, you'll be prompted to choose whether to keep it active as a recurring buy or delete it completely. Your recurring staking keeps running until you stop it. Scheduled stakes will continue to use your balance of that coin, as long as you have enough.
