How to deposit crypto into your Ndax account
Before you begin
To deposit crypto into Ndax, open the asset in your Ndax wallet, select Receive, choose the network that matches your sending wallet, and copy your Ndax wallet address and memo (if needed). Then send the crypto from your other wallet. Most deposits arrive within 0 to 30 minutes, and Ndax doesn't charge a deposit fee.
Warning: Check the wallet address, network, and memo (if required) before you send. Crypto sent to the wrong address or network, or without a required memo, usually can't be reversed or recovered.
- Check that Ndax supports the crypto. See the list at ndax.io/prices. Sending crypto Ndax doesn't support can mean it's lost.
- Check that Ndax supports the network. The Receive screen only lists the networks Ndax supports for that crypto. If your sending wallet's network isn't listed, don't send. Supported networks are also listed in the withdrawal fees table on the Fees page.
- Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) and make sure your account is verified. You need both to deposit crypto.
- Some crypto needs a memo or tag. See Do I need a destination tag or memo?
- Fees: Ndax doesn't charge a deposit fee, except for BTC deposits over the Lightning Network (0.2%). Your sending wallet may charge a network fee.
- Limits: Ndax doesn't limit crypto deposits, except Lightning invoices (0.000001 to 0.1 BTC each).

Where to find your Ndax wallet address
Your Ndax wallet address can be found on the Receive screen on the Ndax website or the Deposit screen in the mobile app, as shown in the steps above.
Each cryptocurrency and network has its own wallet address. Always ensure you copy the correct address for the specific cryptocurrency and network you are using.
Depositing BTC? You can choose from three networks: Bitcoin (on-chain), Binance Smart Chain (BEP20), and Lightning Network. Choose the one your sending wallet uses. For Lightning, see How to deposit BTC using the Lightning Network.
What happens next
Crypto deposits are credited after the required network confirmations, usually within 0 to 30 minutes under normal network conditions. Network congestion or the network you choose can make it take longer. These factors are outside Ndax's control.
Tip: Sending a large amount? Consider sending a small test amount first and checking it arrives.
