Ndax x ThatLeafsFan Instagram Giveaway Official Terms & Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Ndax x ThatLeafsFan Instagram Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Ndax Canada Inc. (“Ndax” or the “Sponsor”).

By entering this Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions (the “Rules”).

This Contest is promoted in partnership with ThatLeafsFan on Instagram.

2. Contest Period

There will be three (3) separate flash giveaways (each, a “Giveaway”), each with its own start and end time as stated in the applicable Instagram post or story.

Entries received after the applicable Giveaway has ended will not be eligible for that Giveaway.

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and affiliates of Ndax, ThatLeafsFan, Instagram, NHL Shop, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (if applicable), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any members of the immediate family or persons domiciled with any of the foregoing are not eligible to enter.

The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

During the applicable Giveaway period, an eligible entrant may receive one (1) entry by:

  • Following @thatleafsfan on Instagram; and
  • Following @ndax.io on Instagram.
  • To be eligible, the entrant must be following both accounts at the time of winner selection and prize verification.

Entry limit: one (1) entry per person per Giveaway.

For clarity, following only one of the two accounts does not qualify as an entry. An entrant must follow both @ndax.io and @thatleafsfan to receive one (1) valid entry.

5. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

6. Prizes

There are three (3) separate Giveaways, with one (1) prize available in each Giveaway, as follows:

  • Giveaway 1: one (1) NHL Shop gift card valued at CAD $250
  • Giveaway 2: one (1) NHL Shop gift card valued at CAD $250
  • Giveaway 3: one (1) pair of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets valued at approximately CAD $500

Total approximate retail value of all prizes combined: CAD $1,000.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

For the Toronto Maple Leafs tickets prize:

  • the specific game, date, seat location, and delivery method will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion;
  • transportation, accommodation, meals, parking, and all other expenses not expressly stated are the sole responsibility of the winner;
  • if the winner is unavailable for the selected game date, the prize may be forfeited in whole or in part, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

7. Winner Selection

For each Giveaway, winner selection will take place within twenty-four (24) hours after the applicable flash giveaway has ended.

For each Giveaway, Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner from among the followers of @ndax.io. Sponsor will then verify whether that selected individual also follows @thatleafsfan on Instagram.

A selected individual will only be eligible to win if they follow both @ndax.io and @thatleafsfan at the time of verification. If the selected individual does not follow both accounts, that individual will be disqualified and Sponsor may select another potential winner using the same process until an eligible winner is confirmed.  

For clarity, the only way to win is to follow both Instagram accounts. One (1) valid entry is equal to following both accounts on Instagram.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable Giveaway.

8. Winner Notification and Claim Process

Potential winners will be contacted by direct message on Instagram within a reasonable period following selection.

The initial message to a selected potential winner may state substantially the following:

Congratulations, you have been selected for the Ndax x ThatLeafsFan giveaway. Please confirm that you have read the Terms & Conditions and understand that we will require your email address in order to deliver your prize. You also confirm that this is a one-time win.

To be declared a winner, a selected entrant must:

  1. respond within forty-eight (48) hours of first attempted contact;
  2. confirm that they have read and accepted these Rules;
  3. provide their email address for the purpose of prize fulfillment;
  4. confirm that they understand they are only eligible to win once in connection with this Contest;
  5. each entrant is eligible to win only one (1) prize in connection with this Contest;
  6. correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question;
  7. sign and return any required declaration or release documents.

If a selected entrant:

  • cannot be contacted;
  • does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours;
  • does not confirm acceptance of these Rules;
  • does not provide the information required for prize fulfillment;
  • fails the skill-testing question;
  • fails to provide required documentation; or
  • is otherwise ineligible or non-compliant with these Rules,

that entrant may be disqualified and an alternate entrant may be selected.

9. Instagram Disclaimer

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

By entering, each entrant completely releases Instagram from any and all liability in connection with this Contest.

10. Influencer Disclosure

The giveaway content is part of a paid promotional partnership between Ndax and ThatLeafsFan.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in a disruptive, abusive, or unsportsmanlike manner.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, platform issues, human error, or any other factor interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless Ndax, ThatLeafsFan, Instagram, NHL Shop, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (if applicable), and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

13. Privacy

Any personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the administration of the Contest, including eligibility verification, winner selection, and prize fulfillment, in accordance with applicable laws and Ndax’s privacy policy.

14. Governing Law

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and territorial laws of Canada and shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
