CATE, as a meme, was born 13 years ago,possibly even earlier. Back then, DOGE had not yet become a memecoin, nor had it reached a $100 billion market cap.

CATE was first documented on July 25, 2013, on Know Your Meme, where it was uploaded by user Crashfalcon’s Skeleton. More than three months later, on December 6, the Dogecoin genesis block was mined, marking its official launch.

Much like the popular idea that cats and dogs are eternal rivals, our community believes that the CATE meme is superior and better suited to the world of memes than DOGE.
