How do I deposit Canadian dollars to Ndax via Interac e-Transfer?
Before funding your Ndax account via Interac e-Transfer, please note that:
- You must include your unique message code in the comment/message/note section of your e-Transfer at your bank. This unique message code allows our system to match your e-Transfer to your Ndax account.
- If your bank has a character limit for the comment/message/note section of the e-Transfer, please input as many characters of your unique message code as your bank allows for (Desjardins as an example, only allows you to enter a maximum of 10 alphanumeric characters. If you use Desjardins, please enter the first 10 characters of your unique message code)
- Tip: Copy and paste your unique message code to avoid any user error caused by mistyping the unique message code
- Ndax cannot accept third-party deposits where the deposit sender’s name does not match the name on your Ndax account; without additional clarification from you. E-transfers sent from a bank account where the name of the e-Transfer does not match with what we have on file for you will require manual approval, and in some cases, will be rejected.
- To deposit funds from a business/corporate bank account, you must set up a business account with Ndax. Please e-mail [email protected] to open a business account.
- If you are sending an e-Transfer from a joint bank account, please note that funding may be delayed until proof of joint account ownership is provided. The reason for this is that the sender’s name of the e-transfer may arrive only under the other joint account holder’s name, which will result in your e-transfer requiring manual approval due to the name mismatch.
- Ndax has auto-deposit enabled for Interac e-transfers. You do not need to input the security question & answer if your bank does not require this.
You must include your unique message code in the comment/message/note section of your e-Transfer. This code allows our system to correctly match your e-Transfer to your NDAX account.
If your bank limits the number of characters allowed in the comment/message/note section, enter as many characters of the unique message code as possible.
For example, Desjardins only allows a maximum of 10 alphanumeric characters, so you should enter the first 10 characters of your code.
Tip: Copy and paste your unique message code to avoid errors caused by mistyping.
Third-Party and Name Mismatch Restrictions
NDAX cannot accept third-party deposits when the sender’s name does not match the name on your NDAX account unless additional clarification is provided.
If your e-Transfer is sent from a bank account where the sender name does not match what we have on file, the deposit will require manual approval and may be rejected in some cases.
To deposit funds from a business or corporate bank account, you must first open a business account with NDAX. Please email [email protected] to set one up.
Joint Accounts
If you are sending an e-Transfer from a joint bank account, your deposit may be delayed until proof of joint ownership is provided. This is because the e-Transfer may arrive under the other account holder’s name, causing a name mismatch and requiring manual approval.
Auto-Deposit Information
NDAX has auto-deposit enabled for Interac e-Transfers.
If your bank does not require a security question and answer, you do not need to enter one.
