Support for the Native USDC on the Polygon Network
Circle Shifts to Native USDC on Polygon for Enhanced Efficiency and Security
Circle, the issuer of USDC, is undergoing a transition away from the bridged version of USDC to a native USDC on the Polygon PoS network. This transition marks a significant advancement in ensuring the utmost efficiency and security in cryptocurrency trading.
Transition Details
As of November 3rd, 2023, Ndax will no longer support deposits and withdrawals on the old USDC Polygon (USDC.e) network. It is crucial that users refrain from depositing the old USDC Polygon (USDC.e) asset to their new Polygon (PoS) Native wallet, as we will no longer be supporting it.
Action Required- Activate your Deposit Address
Starting on November 3rd, we request that you activate your deposit address for all Native USDC deposits on the Polygon PoS network.
To activate your Polygon (PoS) Native wallet address, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Ndax account.
- Navigate to the Wallet tab.
- Access the Deposit section.
- Select USDC and select the Receive option.
- Choose the Polygon (PoS) Native as the network.
- Your Native USDC Polygon address is now activated, and you can start sending deposits.
Stability for ERC-20 and BSC Versions
We understand that many of our customers may be using USDC on different blockchains, such as Ethereum (ERC-20) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). We want to clarify that customers using USDC on ERC-20 or BSC blockchains do not need to make any changes to their deposit addresses or actions. This transition specifically pertains to USDC on the Polygon PoS network (USDC.e).
