Why haven't I received my wire transfer on Ndax?
Wire Transfer Processing Times for Canadian Financial Institutions
Canadian financial institutions do not process wire transfers on weekends or holidays. If you requested your financial institution to send us a wire transfer over the weekend or on a holiday, your financial institution will likely process your wire on the next business day.
Please keep in mind that some financial institutions may take longer than this due to varying processing times and cut-off times, even during normal business days. Typically, most wire transfers arrive to us within 0 – 1 business days.
Common Reasons for Delay in Wire Transfer Deposit to Ndax Account
The following common explanations may be reasons why you do not see your wire transfer deposit reflected in your Ndax account within the specified timeframe:
- You did not upload your wire transfer receipt onto our platform. Please see this article on how to upload your receipt.
- Your financial institution placed your wire transfer on a security hold. In this case, please contact your bank’s security/fraud team to see if the wire transfer is being withheld or frozen. It is very common for wire transfers to be withheld as a security precaution by banks.
- The beneficiary information was incorrect. Please contact your financial institution to perform a wire correction or a wire recall.
- The wire was sent from a non-Canadian financial institution. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept wires that are not from Canadian financial institutions. Please contact your financial institution to perform a wire recall.
