How Auto Earn rewards and fees work
How rewards are calculated
- Rewards accrue continuously on your enrolled balance of each asset.
- Each asset has its own advertised reward rate, which is a yearly rate. If Ndax changes a rate, you'll be notified in advance.
- Crypto that shows Pending Enrollment, or is being released, doesn't receive rewards.
- While Auto Earn is on, your weekly rewards are enrolled at the next daily sweep, so they can also receive rewards.
When rewards are paid
Ndax pays Auto Earn rewards once a week, every Monday at 12:00 AM UTC. Rewards are paid weekly rather than daily.
Fees
- Administration fee: applies only to rewards received through Auto Earn, never to your enrolled crypto. See the Fees page for the current fee.
- Reward rates, payout frequency, and any lock-up or unbonding terms are shown before you participate.
- Advertised reward rates are shown before the administration fee, so the rewards you receive will be lower than the advertised rate.
What the Auto Earn page shows
- Earned Rewards: total rewards paid to you.
- Average APY: the average advertised reward rate across your enrolled assets.
- The number of enrolled assets.
- Reward totals for each asset.
Your reward payments also appear in your transaction history and on your account statements.
Frequently asked questions
Why are my rewards lower than the advertised rate?
Advertised reward rates are shown before the administration fee. The fee is deducted from your rewards, so the amount you receive is lower than the advertised rate.
Are my rewards re-enrolled automatically?
Yes. While Auto Earn is on, your weekly rewards are enrolled at the next daily sweep.
If I release an asset or turn off Auto Earn mid-week, do I still get that week's rewards?
Yes. Rewards received up to the time of the release are paid on the next Monday.
