How to set up two-factor authentication on a desktop for Ndax?
Step 1 - Find a Desktop 2FA App
The first step is to find a desktop authentication app. There are many reputable options that offer 2FA authentication either as a downloadable desktop app or a web browser extension.
Step 2 - Login to Ndax
- Login to https://ndax.io/
- Click Settings on the left-hand side of the screen
- Scroll down to Two Factor Authentication. You will see 3 steps.
Step 3 - Get Setup Key from Ndax
- Click on the rectangle 'copy' button in step number 2 to copy the red code
Step 4 - Paste Key Into 2FA App
Paste the setup key into your 2FA authentication app and follow any remaining prompts.
You will now get a 6-digit token that changes every 30 seconds. Copy that 6-digit code into the "Enter Generated Code Into the Input Field Below" field on your Ndax 2FA setup page. Then click 'Enable'
All done! You will be logged out and asked to log back in, this time with your username, password and 2FA code from your desktop 2FA app.
