What is staking on Ndax?

Staking on Ndax lets you commit eligible crypto to help support a proof-of-stake blockchain and receive rewards in return. Ndax handles the technical side, working with approved validators. You choose the asset, plan, and amount, and you can unstake at any time, subject to each asset's terms. Staking involves risk.

How staking works
  • Complete the staking questionnaire. When you first go to the Staking dashboard, you'll be asked to complete it before you can start staking.
  • Choose an asset and plan. Each asset's page shows its advertised reward rate (APY), bonding and unbonding periods, minimum, and payout schedule.
  • Stake an amount. Your crypto starts receiving rewards after the bonding period ends.
  • Receive rewards. Rewards are paid in the same crypto you staked, on a daily or weekly schedule depending on the asset. An administration fee is deducted from rewards.
  • Unstake when you choose. Choose Standard or Instant redemption, where available.
